Phase 1 of the roadmap marks the launch of the first version of the crypto canvas, laying the foundation for the ecosystem. Users can seamlessly connect their crypto wallets to participate. The integration of the $CANVAS token from the outset introduces immediate utility, allowing holders to reduce pixel placement cooldown times. This phase emphasizes accessibility and ease of onboarding for crypto communities, setting the stage for rapid ecosystem growth.
Phase 2 of the roadmap resembles the building out of the protocol infrastructure and moving towards a decentralized structure. The $CANVAS token will be utilized as a governance token, providing voting weight in decisions on future protocol upgrades. This phase will lay the foundation for further upgrades that align with the token holders.
We aim to integrate AI canvas moderation, to automate the detection and prevention of harmful or inappropriate symbols. This approach would remove the need for human moderators, allowing the natural development of the canvas without bias or intervention. Thus, all users are treated equally, creating an unbiased environment where communities can freely express themselves.
Phase 3 of the roadmap will introduce the concept of limited-time seasons with hard resets to maintain excitement and engagement around the canvas. Each season will reset the canvas, encouraging fresh participation and ongoing creativity. At the end of each season, a final 1/1 NFT will be created, capturing a snapshot of the popular tokens, memes, and trends of the time. This NFT will be auctioned in $CANVAS tokens, which will subsequently be burnt. Additionally, all participants who contributed to the canvas will receive a time-lapse NFT, recognizing their contribution to shaping the canvas.
Phase 4 of the roadmap marks the stage where the project focuses on long-term sustainability and growth. The vision is for the canvas to evolve into a dynamic digital billboard for the crypto industry, where communities rally behind their projects and display them on the canvas.
Widespread usage opens up the potential for monetization opportunities. For example, an exclusive central section of the canvas could be reserved or users could create artwork outside the canvas and import it with one click, with payment for such features in $CANVAS. Further, collaboration with crypto projects could take place to give their community of token holders limited-time rapid cooldowns. Additional monetization opportunities include special pixel color exclusivity and other premium features. Monetization efforts would aim to meet development costs to ensure the project's sustainability while also accruing value to $CANVAS holders through a token-burning mechanism. Such efforts would be designed to avoid hindering normal user participation. Major decisions regarding these monetization features would be proposed and voted on by the $CANVAS token holders, ensuring that developments are in the best interests of the community.
